The Labuan Sports Council lawn bowling team ended a friendly tour in Brunei Darussalam, fresh with valuable experience as part of their preparations ahead of the Borneo Games 2013.

The Borneo Games 2013 will be held at the Federal Territory of Labuan in Malaysia. Lawn bowling is one of the sporting events to be contested at the games.

The Labuan Sports Council team featured 10 male athletes and five female athletes supported by their team manager Dayang Aishah Alias, who also is the Secretary General of the Labuan Federal Territory Lawn Bowls Association, and their coach Hassan bin Hussein.

The friendly series played throughout the day saw the Labuan Federal Territory team testing their abilities against the Brunei Darussalam National Lawn Bowls Association (BDNLBA) and the Wisdom Bowls Club.
The matches have been viewed as a platform to evaluate the performances of the players in the Labuan Federal Territory team as well as their current progress in contrast with athletes from Brunei, Kalimantan, Sabah and Sarawak in the Borneo Games later this year.

The Borneo Games 2013 will begin on September 14 and ends on September 21.
